Healing in the Spiritualist Tradition

Spiritualism has a rich tradition of healing and laying on of hands where prayer, meditation, and laying on of hands take place. Spiritualist healing is a form of mediumship. It is a simple, safe, and supportive energy therapy that brings balance to mind, body, and spirit. In this workshop you will learn various Spiritualist healing techniques, how to connect to the flow of healing power, and how to build the power to sustain a channel of healing energy from Spirit to the sitter. This workshop will teach you how to approach the healing chair during service and how to lay on hands for someone sitting in a healing chair. These skills and techniques can be used in any part of your life. This class is a pre-requisite for anyone wanting to participate as a healer during the healing service at the Quincy Church. All are welcome to learn for the first time or to renew your growth and learning in Spiritualist healing.
