Introduction to Mediumship Class

The Introduction to Mediumship Class will focus on teaching the student how to awaken their intuitive abilities and is suited for beginner to intermediate levels. This class will help the student develop their mediumship and psychic abilities through guided meditation and various exercises to strengthen their connection to Spirit as well as tap into their psychic awareness and intuition. There will be discussions on the history and philosophy of Spiritualism as well as working towards serving spiritualist churches. Students will be given the opportunity to serve our church in the Summer of 2025. Please register early to reserve your spot. 

Cost: $80 for church members, $120 for non-members.

Session I: September to December 2024 – 8 classes.

Class Schedule: The class will meet on the 2ndand 4th Wednesday of each month in person from 6:30-8:00pm unless noted*. Class dates: 9/11, 9/25, 10/9, 10/23, 11/13, 11/27, 12/11, 12/19*. The class schedule may be modified to Zoom instruction if required due to inclement weather. Every effort will be made to keep this class in person.

About Your Teacher

Laurie Leehan is a spirit medium and holy fire reiki master.  Laurie’s spiritual work has spanned over 20 years and a lifetime of empathic knowing. She loves to make a difference through her spiritual work and uses her guidance, compassion, and knowledge to help others. Laurie has had a "knowing" for as long as she can remember. It wasn't until mid-life that she began to better understand and recognize these gifts as being her life purpose. She has trained with many spiritual leaders including Rev. Rita Berkowitz, Tony Stockwell, and Rev. Patricia Mellman. Laurie is currently participating in the Journey Within ministry program in New Jersey and will become an Ordained Spiritualist Minister in August 2024.

Laurie is a long time member of the First Spiritualist Church of Quincy, currently serving as President ae well as a member of the Pastoral Committee.
